Jayant Chaudhary himself lost the Lok Sabha election from Baghpat in the BJP wave in 2019. But the ongoing peasant movement and its impact on the Jat community of western Uttar Pradesh has not infused life into the Rashtriya Lok Dal, which is involved in politics related to Jats.
