Bank holiday October 10 RBI: Several private and public banks across India will remain shut down on October 10 as per the RBI bank holiday announcement on the occasion of Maha Saptami.
Maha Saptami is an important day that marks the 7th day of the 10-day-long Durga Puja festival so that is why RBI declared holiday for banks October 2024 in some states.

Why banks closed on October 10?
October 10 2024 bank holiday reasons are because of the celebration of Maha Saptami, all banks in Tripura, Assam, Nagaland, and West Bengal will remain closed on Thursday. However, private and public banks in other states will remain open as usual.
