Bipin Laxman Singh Rawat, better known as General Bipin Rawat. He was the Chief of Defense Staff. General Rawat was born on 16 March 1958 in the Chauhan Rajput family in Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. General Rawat's mother was from the Parmar dynasty.
