WHO warns - Marburg Virus is spreading dangerously by taking lives of people
”According to WHO, Marburg virus disease is dangerous which is spread by virus. It is a virus from the same family that causes Ebola virus disease. The disease caused by Marburg virus is characterized by a sudden high fever, severe headache and severe malaise. Symptoms of severe bleeding were seen within seven days of infection in many patients.

At least nine people have died in Equatorial Guinea from an "outbreak" of Marburg virus, the World Health Organization (WHO) said. All these deaths have happened due to Marburg virus which is a dangerous virus like Ebola virus. It also has fever like Ebola. In a press statement, the WHO said that on Monday (local time) in Equatorial Guinea nine people have been confirmed dead from the virus. In the investigation of all the dead, infection with the Marburg virus has been detected. According to the statement of the World Health Organization, it has been learned about this virus that it spreads through bats. After the detection of this virus in Guinea, people who are showing symptoms of this disease are being fully monitored.
Dr. Matshidiso, WHO Regional Director for Africa, said “Marburg is highly contagious. Thank you to the authorities in Equatorial Guinea for their swift and decisive action in confirming the disease.
