When Rubina Dilaik Opened Up About Her Break-Up With Avinash Sachdev: “Grateful That It Happened”

Actress and Bigg Boss 14 winner Rubina Dilaik is quite happy in her personal and professional life. Post her BB14 win, she has been the talk of the town and getting approached for various projects. In her personal life, Dilaik is happily married to actor Abhinav Shukla. But did you know the actress had once dated one of her co-stars, Avinash Sachdev?

To those who are unaware, Rubina Dilaik was in a relationship with Avinash Sachdev when they were a part of Chotti Bahu. They were a hit reel and a real-life couple of the TV industry back then. But the relationship ended due to differences, and both went their separate paths. Today, Dilaik can't be more than happy to have Abhinav Shukla as her life partner.

Long ago, in an interview with ET Times, Rubina spoke about her breakup. She said, "The experiences, heartbreak and downfall in my life has made me a stronger woman. I emerged stronger. At that point in time, I didn't realize it. I grudged, sulked and asked why this happened to me. That lamenting had to come to a closure someday because that's not me. I believe in evolution. But now I am very grateful that it happened to me, and I went through that bad patch in my life."

"Because from there on I determined to become a better person. I have no grudges, regrets and I completely owe up to the responsibility that the heartbreak happened to me. I am thankful as had this not happened I would have not seen the beauty of a new relationship. I believe that's how we grow in life. The one important lesson that I have learnt in my life is that embrace life as it comes," added Rubina Dilaik.
