Amitabh Bachchan Reveals His Property Plans: The Big B, Amitabh Bachchan, is always known for having strong morals. In an interview, he talked about how his property after his death will be divided equally among his family members.

In a chat with Rediff in 2011, the iconic actor talked about how after Amitabh Bachchan's death, all his property would be equally distributed among his children, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan.

In the interview, he said “I had decided on one thing: that I would not differentiate between them,” Amitabh had said in an interview with Rediff.

“When I die, whatever little I have will be equally divided between my daughter and my son — there is no differentiation. Jaya and I decided on that long time back. Everybody says that the girl is paraya dhan, she goes to her husband’s house, but in my eyes she is our daughter, she has the same rights Abhishek has.”

Last year, Amitabh Bachchan gifted Shweta Bachchan Nanda his bungalow, Jalsa which was valued at Rs 50 crores.

During the interview, he also talked about his relationship with his son Abhishek Bachchan, he said he thinks of him as a friend.

He added, “I had decided much before Abhishek was born that if I had a son he would be my friend rather than a son, and the day he started wearing my shoes, he became my friend. So now I treat him as a friend. I very rarely look upon him as a son. I am concerned about him as a father, I would look after him as a father, I would advice him as a father, but when I talk to him, we talk as friends.”

Recently, a report from the Hurun India Rich List 2024 named Amitabh Bachchan and his family the fourth richest family in Bollywood. The net worth of Amitabh Bachchan and his family is around Rs 1,600 crore.

However, Amitabh Bachchan recently appeared in the iconic film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ which received a good response from the critics and earned a lot of money.
