WhatsApp to Introduce AI Avatars in Chats: WhatsApp is currently working on a new feature that will allow users to create their avatar using the Meta AI.

WABetaInfo reported that with the help of the ‘Imagine Me’ feature you will be able to generate your avatar, the image will be created by AI according to the prompt you give.

The leaked screenshot showed the new ‘Imagine Me’ feature in the Meta AI, thus giving the user a sense of how it is used.

A tweet shared by WABetaInfo on its X account along with the screenshot of the new feature said, “???? WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.14.13: what's new? WhatsApp is working on an optional feature to allow users to generate images of themselves using Meta AI, and it will be available in a future update!”

How will the Imagine Me feature work?

This feature will be available in Meta AI, this ‘Imagine Me’ feature will make new AI pictures after users take a set of pictures. Users have to ask the Meta AI by typing “@Meta AI imagine me” in the Meta AI chatbox and the Meta AI will generate an accurate image avatar of the user.

This feature is still under development but it will be soon available in the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.14.13 update.

Users who want to use this feature must first take pictures of their setup and directly turn it on in their settings.

How to create an Avatar using the Imagine Me feature in the Meta AI?

To create your avatar you need to follow the below-mentioned steps:

• First, you have to open the Meta AI chat
• Then, type @ in the chatbox and select the 'imagine me' option.
• Enter the prompt in the chatbox to generate your avatar.
• After that click on send.
• Your avatar will be generated and will be displayed in the chat.
