WhatsApp India head Abhijit Bose resigns, Meta's public policy director also left the company
The development comes within a week of the company announcing 11,000 job cuts across the globe. The company has now given the responsibility of Meta India public policy to Shivnath Thukral, who is currently WhatsApp's director of public policy in India.

The round of layoffs that started after Elon Musk completed the process of Twitter acquisition is increasing continuously. In the past, Meta had shown its 11 thousand employees the way out. WhatsApp India chief Abhijit Bose and META's public policy chief Rajeev Agarwal have resigned from their posts after the company cited cost efficiencies as the reason behind it. Social media company Meta gave this information on Tuesday.
