West Indies set a target of 158 runs for India

The first match of the three-match T20 series is being played between Team India and West Indies at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata today.

Team India won the toss and decided to bowl first. West Indies team scored 157 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Team India was given the target of runs. In reply, India scored 11 runs without a wicket in 2 overs till the time of writing the news. Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma were at the crease.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar sent Brendan King to the pavilion for 4 runs. The second blow to the team came in the form of Kyle Meyers. He returned to the pavilion after scoring 31 runs off Yajuvendra Chahal. The third blow came in the form of Ruston Chase. Ravi Bishnoi sent him to the pavilion for 4 runs. Soon after, the team suffered a fourth blow.
