Weather Update : Weather pattern changed in Delhi NCR
The weather pattern has changed in Delhi-NCR. Light rain with strong wind is occurring in Delhi and adjoining NCR areas.

According to the information received, there is light rain with strong wind in Faridabad and Jaffrabad of Delhi. Weather has also changed in Noida and Ghaziabad. Strong winds are blowing here although it is not raining here yet.
The Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert giving a forecast of severe heat wave from April 28 to May 1.
Delhi's maximum temperature was recorded at 40.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal while the minimum temperature was recorded at 22.7 degrees Celsius. The humidity level in the air ranged from 19 to 58 percent. The Sports Complex area was the hottest. The maximum temperature here was recorded at 43.1 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was recorded at 29.7 degrees Celsius.
An official of the Meteorological Department said that there was some respite from prolonged heatwave in Northwest India due to partly cloudy sky due to the activity of a Western Disturbance over Afghanistan.The maximum temperature can reach 46 degree Celsius in some parts of Delhi.
