Weather Update : People are suffering due to heat in Delhi-NCR, everyone is waiting for monsoon
The humidity level in the air ranged from 41 to 83 per cent. At the same time, the maximum mercury has reached 40 in Najafgarh. Apart from this, the temperature remained in the range of 36 to 38 degree Celsius at other standard centers.
People suffering from the sultry heat in Delhi-NCR are waiting for the arrival of monsoon. However, the wait for its arrival is increasing. The Meteorological Department has forecast that from the last day of the last week of June to July 6, the monsoon will cover the entire country. In such a situation, there is a possibility that these days the wait of the people of Delhi-NCR may be over.
According to the Meteorological Department, between June 23 and June 29, monsoon will cover many parts of north-west India including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. At the same time, from the last day of June i.e. from June 30 to July 6, the south-west monsoon will cover the entire country. However, Rajendra Jenamani, senior scientist of the Meteorological Department, says that no date has been fixed for when the monsoon will knock in Delhi. Because, dry weather is likely to continue for the next three days.
According to the Meteorological Department, in the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature was 37.9 degrees Celsius below normal and the minimum temperature was three less than normal at 25.3 degrees Celsius. People were troubled by the scorching sun and humidity throughout the day.
The Meteorological Department has forecast that with the weather being clear in the next 24 hours, the maximum temperature can reach 39 and the minimum temperature can reach 25 degree Celsius. According to the department, the temperature can reach 40 on June 25 and 26. However, after this the weather is likely to take a turn, after which the period of continuous rain will continue.
