The maximum temperature in many areas of Delhi and NCR has been recorded above 40 degrees. The day's maximum temperature at Safdarjung in Delhi was recorded at 39.2 degrees Celsius, which was 7 degrees above normal. The hottest day of the season was recorded on Tuesday, March 29.
