We are being forced to accept IMF's strict conditions, Shehbaz Sharif's pain spilled in the security meeting

Economic crisis has engulfed Pakistan and it is going through its worst phase. The people there are craving for food ranging from roti to chicken, as the prices of food items are skyrocketing. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed pain on Friday regarding the loan program of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).He said that Pakistan is being forced to accept tough conditions for the deal with the IMF. In a security meeting, Shehbaz Sharif said that even a friendly country is waiting for the ratification of the agreement before extending its support to Pakistan.

Finally, China came forward to help Pakistan and announced a loan to the friendly country. China will give a loan of 700 million dollars to Pakistan. This was informed by Pakistan's Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

Significantly, the cash crunch is getting deeper in Pakistan. In the year 2023, it increased even more, due to which foreign exchange reserves reached the lowest level. Pakistan's foreign exchange reserves stood at just $3.2 billion on February 10, which was enough for three weeks of imports.
