WB Police Constable Recruitment 2022: Notification issued for the recruitment of 1666 constables in West Bengal Police

Good news for the candidates who are preparing for the West Bengal Police Recruitment and waiting for the application process to start. 

According to the WB Police Constable Recruitment 2022 notification released by the Board, the interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply through the online application form to be made available on the official website of the board, prb.wb.gov.in. The application process will start from 29th May and candidates will be able to submit their application till 27th June 2022. During the application, candidates have to pay the application fee of Rs 170 through online. For SC, ST candidates the fee is Rs 20 only.

Candidates willing to apply for the posts of Constable and Lady Constable in West Bengal State Police must have passed Secondary Examination or any other equivalent qualification from West Bengal Board. Also, the age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 27 years as on 1st January 2022. However, upper age relaxation will be given to the candidates domiciled in the state of West Bengal as per the rules of the state government. Candidates will be selected for Constable Posts in West Bengal Police on the basis of Preliminary Written Examination, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Written Test and Interview. Candidates securing minimum marks as per cut-offs prescribed by the Board for various categories will be called for medical test as per the merit list.
