Voting on the no-confidence motion against the Imran government may start in the National Assembly

On the orders of the Supreme Court, the National Assembly of Pakistan will vote on the no-confidence motion of the opposition on Saturday. The top court, in its judgment pronounced on Thursday, had set aside the order of the deputy speaker rejecting the no-confidence motion. Meanwhile, the opposition National Assembly will move a no-confidence motion against the deputy speaker. Voting on the no-confidence motion is likely to start at 11 am.

PTI has also done a complete game plan for the National Assembly. According to the news of Pakistan's newspaper Dawn, it has been said from PTI that she is not going to give up so easily. The party says that it wants a debate in the assembly on their allegations about foreign power.

PM Imran Khan's defeat in the voting to be held today is considered certain. On 3 April, when there was a ruckus after the decision of the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, then the opposition got its speaker seated and voted on the no-confidence motion. In this voting, 172 votes of the opposition were cast, while two MPs were absent. Now it has to be seen that during the voting today, the opposition can show in their favor in the National Assembly.
