A big announcement has been made regarding the capital of Andhra Pradesh. CM Jagan Mohan Reddy said that Visakhapatnam will be the new capital of Andhra Pradesh. Explain that Reddy was addressing the preparatory meeting of the Global Investors Summit to be held in Visakhapatnam on Tuesday. Jagan Reddy said, "Here I would like to invite you to Visakhapatnam, which will be the capital of our state in the coming days. I will also shift to Visakhapatnam in the coming few months." Please tell that Amravati is now the capital of Andhra Pradesh.

Earlier, Jagan Mohan Reddy's government had repealed the controversial Andhra Pradesh Decentralization and Inclusive Development of All Regions Act 2020 in November last year. Its purpose was to make three capitals in the state. The state government then proposed Visakhapatnam (executive capital), Amaravati (legislative capital) and Kurnool (judicial capital).
