Vinesh Phogat, the former world championship bronze-medalist thanked PM Modi for sparing time from his busy schedule and keeping his promise of interacting with the Phogat family. In August, she made a shock first-round exit from the Tokyo Olympics despite being one of India’s strongest medal contenders. After her return, PM Modi arranged a meeting with all the Tokyo Games athletes and had given Phogat a pep talk as well.
