On his Instagram handle, he shared a video showing the actor enjoying himself during the Holi festivities and playing the nagada. Simultaneously, the very traditional Lathmar Holi ushers in the Holi celebrations for Nandagaon on Sunday, heralding the way into a full week of such celebrations at Mathura.

As with every other event, this one, too, is celebrated with great enthusiasm and is deeply embedded in the traditions of Lord Krishna and Radha.
According to lore, Lathmar Holi is taken to represent an exchange between Krishna's village, Nandagaon, and Radha's village, Barsana; Krishna, with his friends, is said to have ventured to Barsana to tease Radha and her companions, who then playfully chased them away with lathis.
Devotees from all parts of India and abroad thronged the famous temple premises of Nandagaon to witness this vibrant spectacle.
The Holi festivities in Mathura, popularly known as the birthplace of Lord Krishna, are going to culminate with live parades, cultural programs, and temple rituals leading to the main Holi festival day.

In keeping with this great celebration, additional security arrangements have been critically placed to ensure a smooth celebration while the local administration closely monitors crowd and traffic control during this period.
The renowned Lathmar Holi festivities kicked off on Saturday in the town of Barsana in Mathura, where crowds gathered to witness the events.
Laddu Mar Holi launched on Friday from the government shrine of Shriman Ladliji Maharaj in Barsana as part of the Holi celebration, wherein devotees lovingly throw sweets at each other.
The arrival of Rangotsav 2025 at Barsana, Mathura, was, however, acknowledged with flower petals to the assembly by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
