Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar went to inaugurate FIFA World Cup 2022
The FIFA World Cup 2022 is all set to begin on Sunday in Qatar. The first game of the mega sporting event will be played between the hosts Qatar and Ecuador at 9:30 PM.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar left for Qatar to represent India at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup 2022. During the visit, apart from attending the opening ceremony, the Vice President will also interact with members of the Indian community.

Singer Jungkook of the famous South Korean band BTS will perform at the opening ceremony among others. It will be a remarkable event as the stadium has a seating capacity of 60,000 people. The tournament has been marred by controversy since Qatar was awarded the hosting rights, but eventually the focus will shift to the footballers and the skills they can display.
