Varanasi Boat Accident: Overloaded boat full of tourists drowned at Ahilyabai Ghat in Varanasi

An overloaded boat carrying 34 tourists from South India sank in the Ganges on Saturday morning. According to the local people, while boating, around 34 people in the boat drowned in the accident. At the same time, after getting the information, NDRF and Water Police team got involved in relief and rescue work. According to the police, all the people have been safely evacuated with the help of the local people. It was told that two of them have been admitted to the hospital due to their critical condition.
After the accident, people started reaching the spot with their resources for rescue. The process of rescuing the tourists one by one started, till then two people had to be admitted to the hospital due to their critical condition. Seeing the accident, the non-compliance boatman also fled from the spot. At the same time, the police is now preparing to take action by registering charges in this matter.
