Uttarakhand News: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reaches Dehradun, will celebrate Dussehra with soldiers on China border

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reached Dehradun airport in a special Air Force aircraft. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Union Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt welcomed Union Minister Rajnath Singh at Jolly Grant's Dehradun Airport. From here, Union Minister Rajnath Singh left for the helipad at Garhi Cantt by MI helicopter.

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will celebrate Dussehra on October 5 with army personnel at the border posts at Mana and Auli in Chamoli district. After this, worship will also be done in Badrinath Dham on the same day. The Defense Minister's program has been confirmed by the administration.

The Defense Minister will reach Auli on Wednesday at 8.30 am. Here the soldiers will participate in the Dussehra program organized by the army personnel and after that they will leave for Mana. Here he will inspect the forward posts of the army as well as celebrate the Dussehra of the army personnel.

The border of Chamoli district adjoining China in Uttarakhand is the most sensitive. China had infiltrated 10 times from 2014 to 2018 in Badahoti, located in the Malari Valley (Valley) of Chamoli district. This infiltration was foiled by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel. Army and ITBP are always on alert in Badahoti.
