UPPSC PCS Result: Final result of PCS released, can be seen on website uppsc.up.nic.in

After getting a big relief from the Allahabad High Court in the matter of not giving five percent reservation to ex-servicemen in the PCS Preliminary Examination of the year 2021, now the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the final selection result. The final selection result has been released on the website uppsc.up.nic.in. Candidates will be able to check their result on the website. The decision of the single bench of the High Court caused more disappointment among the candidates who had appeared for the interview after successful in the main examination and now they are happy to be relieved.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission had filed a special appeal against the order of a single bench of the High Court to cancel the result of the preliminary examination and give five percent reservation. A division bench of Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice JJ Munir on Tuesday quashed the order of the single bench. The Public Service Commission was busy in completing the recruitment process amid the filing of a special appeal in the High Court in the matter.

On July 12, the Public Service Commission had declared the result of the main examination conducted for 623 posts of Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (PCS). 1285 candidates were declared successful for the interview, out of which 1260 candidates appeared in the interview. The commission had completed the interview process on August 5. Due to the hearing in the High Court regarding this recruitment, the commission had not declared the result. This decision of the High Court Bench has also given relief to the Commission and the candidates who have given the interview.
