Fire brigade vehicles have reached the spot. The reason for the fire could not be ascertained.
Train No. 20484 Durg - Udhampur Superfast Express does not have stoppage at Hetampur near Morena - Dholpur. Due to lack of signal, the train stopped at the outer. Some passengers noticed smoke coming out of coaches A-1 and A-2. Suddenly the flames started rising.

On information about the fire, all the passengers got down from the train and started running. These coaches were separated from the train after the fire was reported. The luggage of the passengers got burnt in the incident.
Northern Central Railway's CPRO Dr. Shivam Sharma said that fire broke out in A1 and A2 of the train as soon as it left Hetampur station. The passengers have been evacuated safely. After this the front part of the train was separated. Rest of the trains are leaving on their own time.
