UP Vidhwa Pension Yojana: 500 rupees will come every month in the account of women in UP

Widow Pension Scheme is being run by the Uttar Pradesh government to provide financial assistance to widowed women. Only widowed women living below the poverty line can take advantage of this scheme of the state government. Women whose age is between 18 to 60 years are eligible to take advantage of this scheme of Yogi Sarkar. Under the scheme, there is a provision to give Rs 500 every month to widowed women.

Here are the few eligibility criteria :

Applicant widow woman should be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh state. The age of the applicant should not be less than 18 years and not more than 60 years.

The annual income limit of the applicant and her family should not exceed Rs 2 lakh per annum from all sources. Otherwise you cannot apply for this scheme. The applicant should not be taking benefit of pension from any other scheme of the State or Central Government. You can get the benefit of only one scheme/pension.

Documents required for the scheme:

Aadhar card of the applicant , husband's death certificate , residence certificate, income certificate, age certificate ,bank account passbook, mobile number passport size photo.

Here's how you can apply online for the scheme :

First you open the Integrated Social Pension Portal (sspy-up.gov.in). Then click on Destitute Women Pension >> Apply Online.

Now you have to fill the application form for women welfare department, destitute women pension after the death of husband. Then you will get District, Resident, Name, Gender, Category, Husband Name, Full Address, Tehsil, Mobile Number, Bank Details, Income Details, Documents Uploaded – Passport Size Color Photograph, Date of Birth / Age Certificate, Death of Husband You will have to fill the information of certificate etc.

After filling all the details, finally enter the security code and click on the “Submit” button. After this your application form will be submitted and take a photocopy of it.
