UP Urban Body Election 2022: 40 Muslims sought ticket from BJP in Pilibhit municipal elections

40 Muslim claimants have applied for tickets in the Bharatiya Janata Party for various posts in the municipal elections. Most of them are from Pasmanda Muslim community. This district has a sizeable population of Pasmanda Muslims and the BJP seems to be successful in making inroads in this society. There are three Nagar Palika Parishads and seven Nagar Panchayats in the district. Of these, Mo. for the post of newly formed Naugawan Pakdia Nagar Panchayat President. Hanif Ansari and Mohd. Ashraf has submitted applications claiming ticket in BJP. For the post of Newria Nagar Panchayat President. Atish has applied.

For the post of Jehanabad Nagar Panchayat President, former chairman Yameen Khan has submitted application claiming ticket in BJP. Apart from these, claimants of Pasmanda Muslim Samaj have also applied for tickets for the posts of ward councilors in municipal councils. A total of 40 claimants from the Muslim community have sought tickets from the BJP to contest the elections for the post of president and ward councilor in the municipal bodies. People of Pasmanda community are now leaning towards BJP. The main reason for this is that till now the people of this society kept deceiving the leaders of their community whom they trusted. Social justice was not achieved. That's why Pasmanda Muslims are leaning towards BJP. Out of 100 Muslims in this Terai district, about 80 come from the Pasmanda community.

The party will give tickets to the loyal workers in the municipal elections. Whether he is a Hindu or a worker of the Muslim community, it does not matter. The most important thing is to be loyal to the party and have a good image among the public.
