Union Minister meets Sameer Wankhede, who filed a case against NCB's DDG Dnyaneshwar Singh in SC Commission
The NCB had launched a vigilance probe after several loopholes were found in its probe into the alleged seizure of narcotics from a cruise ship in Mumbai in October last year. Aryan Khan, son of actor Shahrukh Khan was arrested in this case, but he got a clean chit later. Wankhede was the Director of NCB Mumbai Zone at the time of the raid in this Goa-bound cruise.
On the occasion of Diwali, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale visited Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Sameer Wankhede's house and wished him on this festival. Athawale also spoke to Sameer Wankhede on the Atrocity complaint made in the SC Commission against Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB, NCB) officer Gyaneshwar Singh. Two days ago, a front has also come out against NCB officer Dnyaneshwar Singh in Andheri West and Aurangabad.
Senior NCB officer Dnyaneshwar Singh had investigated the Aryan Khan drugs case against Sameer Wankhede and others. In the investigation, action has been recommended against 8 people of NCB including the then officer and employee. Meanwhile, IRS officer Sameer Wankhede has complained to the National Commission for Scheduled Castes against IPS officer and DDG Dnyaneshwar Singh of NCB. After which the National Commission for Scheduled Castes will investigate the allegations of harassment leveled against Dnyaneshwar Singh.
