Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan got a big responsibility, appointed in-charge of Karnataka election

In view of the Karnataka assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party has appointed Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as its election in-charge. Whereas, Tamil Nadu BJP President K. Annamalai has been given the responsibility of election co-incharge. A statement issued by the BJP said, 'BJP National President Shri JP Nadda has given Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as in-charge for the upcoming Karnataka Elections 2023 and Tamil Nadu BJP President K.K. Annamalai has been appointed as co-in-charge. Both the ruling party and the opposition Congress have started intensive public outreach for the elections to be held in April-May. Earlier, party president JP Nadda had visited the state last month to take stock of the election preparations. During this, he also addressed a public meeting. At the same time, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Karnataka on 11 February. Amit Shah will attend a program at Puttur in Dakshina Kannada district. According to information, Shah will participate in a cooperative conference to be held here.
The BJP is currently running a resolution campaign across the state. It is expected that apart from the cooperative conference, Amit Shah will also participate in the resolution campaign. The BJP had won seven of the eight seats in Dakshina Kannada district in the 2018 assembly elections.
