Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that Ram temple will be ready in Ayodhya on January 1, 2024
The Union Home Minister said, 'During the 2019 election campaign, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi used to say that he will build the temple but will not tell the date. Today, Rahul Gandhi and everyone should hear that on January 1, 2024, a huge and sky-touching temple will be ready for the people of Ayodhya.'

Union Home Minister Amit Shah made a big announcement related to Ram Mandir on Thursday. Home Minister Amit Shah said that the Ram temple will be ready in Ayodhya on January 1, 2024. He made this big announcement while taking a jibe at Rahul Gandhi's 'tarikh nahi batayenge' remark during the 2019 Lok Sabha election campaign.
Addressing a rally in South Tripura, Amit Shah said, 'Congress obstructed the construction of Ram temple in the courts. After the Supreme Court verdict came, Modiji started the construction of the temple. PM Modi performed Bhoomi Pujan and started the construction of the temple. Along with this, he took a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his remarks during the 2019 election campaign.

The construction work of Lord Shri Ram's temple in Ayodhya is going on at a fast pace. The Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi had laid the foundation stone for the construction of Ram temple on 5 August 2020 and since then the construction work of the temple is going on. On November 9, 2019, a five-judge Constitution bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi (now retired), unanimously ruled that the land in Ayodhya where the Babri Masjid once stood belonged to Ram Lalla. After this decision, the way for the construction of Ram temple was cleared.
