A notice from the official website says that the last day to send in the test fee is May 16, 2024. After the deadline for registering and paying the fee, on May 18, the agency will open the window for making changes to applications.

UGC NET June 2024 registration: University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024 which was extended till May 15 will be closed tomorrow. Candidates who have yet to make their registration should do it as soon as possible by visiting ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
A notice from the official website says that the last day to send in the test fee is May 16, 2024. After the deadline for registering and paying the fee, on May 18, the agency will open the window for making changes to applications.
To finish the application, applicants must pay the fees that are appropriate for their group. If you are a UR candidate then you have to pay INR 1150, and OBC candidates have to pay INR 600, whereas the SC/ST/PwD/Women have to pay INR 325 to complete the registration.
Exam Date
The UGC NET exam will be held on June 18, 2024, the date was postponed from June 16, 2024, and the admit card will be available by the first week of June.
The UGC NET will be given offline with 83 topics. There will be two questions on the test. There will be objective-type multiple-choice questions on both tests.

Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the UGC NET exam are mentioned below:
- Candidates for NTA NET JRF can't be more than 30 years old.
- Candidates in the reserved group can be five years younger than the minimum age.
- Candidates must have finished their UG (four-year study) or be in their last year.
- Candidates must have a master's degree from a college or university recognized by the UGC.
- People from the reserved group don't have to meet as many educational requirements.
- People who passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) before June 1, 2002, don't have to take the UGC NET test.
