The round of speculations continued throughout the country regarding the political crisis in Maharashtra. Late in the evening, the Supreme Court upheld the order of the majority test in the state assembly.
Soon after, the Chief Minister of the state Uddhav Thackeray addressed the public. In his address, he said that I do not want there to be bloodshed in Mumbai. That's why I am resigning from the CM's chair. Uddhav Thackeray said the CRPF team and other forces are coming to Mumbai.
Earlier, on the order of Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari to conduct the floor test, the Supreme Court said that we will not stop the floor test. The court said that at present we cannot stop the floor test in Maharashtra. Therefore, the floor test will be conducted tomorrow at 11 o'clock as per the schedule. The Supreme Court said that we cannot stay the order of the Governor. We are issuing notice. You can file a counter on this. In other cases, the decision will be taken on the basis of merit on July 11.
