Two arrested in gang rape of 8-year-old girl

Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has sent a notice to Delhi Police in connection with the gangrape of an 8-year-old girl in Shastri Park area of ​​Delhi.

According to the press release issued, the commission got information about the incident in Delhi's Shastri Park through women helpline number 181 on 24.01.2021. The commission was told that the victim, an 8-year-old girl, had gone out of her house at around 4 pm and when she returned, she complained of severe abdominal pain.

The condition of the girl is critical, the girl was immediately taken to the Government Hospital, where she underwent surgery. According to reports, the condition of the girl remains critical and her treatment is going on in the ICU.
