Twitter gets time till July 4 to comply with all government orders
The government was requested to block several accounts and some tweets by international advocacy groups, journalists, politicians and supporters of farmers' protests.

The Ministry of Electronics and IT has issued a notice to Twitter asking it to comply with all its previous orders by July 4. Failure to do so shall mean that he shall be responsible for all Comments posted on his Platform.
Twitter was given notice on June 27 to comply with all the government orders issued so far. Though the notice was issued to Twitter earlier this month, it did not comply and this is the final notice given to Twitter.
On June 26, the microblogging site also released a list of over 80 Twitter accounts and tweets that have been blocked in 2021 at the request of the government.
However, according to a government source, there are several other orders, which are yet to be complied with by Twitter and they have been given the July 4 deadline to comply.
