Tunisha Sharma Death: Vasai court adjourns hearing of Sheezan Khan's bail plea

The Vasai court has adjourned the hearing of actor Sheezan Khan's bail plea in Tunisha Sharma's death case. Now the hearing in this case will be held on January 9. Sheejan's lawyer said that Sheejan is innocent and his family and he are facing the brunt of police negligence. He said, “Truth and justice will prevail, we have full faith in the judiciary and I reiterate that Sheejan Mohd Khan is innocent and he and his family are suffering because of police inefficiency. They have misused the power to arrest.

As per the latest reports, the police retrieved the chats of Sheezan and his 'secret girlfriend'. It was also learned that Sheejan used to talk to many other girls. The ANI report states, 'During the investigation, several important chats have been found on the mobile of the accused, in which it has been revealed that the accused had started distancing himself from Tunisha after the breakup. Tunisha used to message him repeatedly, but the accused avoided her by not replying.

In the last hearing, Sheejan was sent to 14-day custody. On 2 January, Sheejan's family held a press conference where they rubbished the reports of any 'secret girlfriend'. Sheejan's sister Falak also spoke in detail on the Tunisha-Sheejan breakup on social media. She said in the video that the two had broken up with mutual consent and wanted to focus on their careers at the moment. Tunisha who was 20 years old committed suicide on 24 December. The actress's mother had filed a case against Sheejan alleging abetment to suicide.
