Travel in Delhi becomes expensive, auto meter down by Rs 30

The Delhi government on Friday issued an order to hike the fares of auto rickshaws and taxis. The government has increased the minimum fare by Rs. After this order, passengers traveling in auto rickshaws and taxis will have to pay an increased price.

After the implementation of the new rate, now for AC taxis, you will have to pay Rs 4 more and Rs 3 more for non AC. At the same time, now the meter down of auto will start from Rs 30 instead of 25. After this, where earlier one had to pay nine and a half rupees for one kilometer, now you have to pay 11 rupees. However, the government has not made any change in night charge and waiting charge.

At the same time, where the taxi meter used to be down from Rs 25 for one kilometer earlier, it will start from Rs 40 after the new rates are implemented. Non AC taxi fare has been increased from Rs 14 per kilometer to Rs 17. Similarly, the fare of AC taxi has been increased from Rs 16 to Rs 20 per kilometer. There is no change in Night Charge. It has been announced to increase the waiting charge by one rupee per minute.

Earlier, where the auto meter used to be down from 25 and used to run for one and a half kilometers, now it will be down from 30. Apart from this, where earlier you had to pay Rs 9.5 per kilometer, now you will have to pay Rs 11. In such a situation, if someone travels 10 km, then the passenger will have to pay 123.50 paise.
