Dr Reddy's
The combined net profit went down by 15% to Rs 1,255 crore in the second quarter of FY25 compared to Rs 1,480 crore in the second quarter of FY24.
The company’s revenue from operations increased by 17% year-on-year to Rs 8,016 crore while the EBITDA went up by 5% to Rs 2,280 crore, with margins slightly higher to 28.4%.
Hindustan Zinc
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that non-retail investors can bid on Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) shares starting November 6, 2024, and from the next day, retail investors will be able to do the same.
The government’s motive is to divest 1.25% of its equity stake in HZL, with an option to sell an additional 1.25% as a green shoe option.
Berger Paints
The multinational paint company reported an increase in its net profit by 7.5% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 269.6 crore for the second quarter that ended on September 30, 2024. In the same quarter of the previous year, the company’s net profit was Rs 91.6 crore.
JSW Steel
The steel manufacturing company and Posco are planning to invest Rs 65,000 crore in an integrated steel plant in Odisha. This investment will boost the production capacity to 18 million metric tons in three years.
Bharti Airtel
The company reported that it is closely monitoring the Department of Telecommunications’ (DoT) proposal to waive bank guarantees for spectrum payments.
The company has requested the DoT to apply a non-discriminatory approach to all telecom operators, regardless of their financial health.
Bharat Seats
The company is giving bonus shares for the first time in more than 17 years, which could improve the financial outlook.
