The private sector company reported that it made a net profit of Rs 4,917 crore in the first quarter ending on June 2024. The report states that it made a higher net profit compared to the net profit of 4,902 crore it made during the same quarter last year.

In the April to June quarter, the company's total income went up by Rs 18,921 crore from Rs 17,704 crore in the same quarter of the last year.

Tata Motors

The company reported that it recorded an increase in net profit by 74% year-on-year to ₹5,566 crore in the first quarter because of the successful performance of Jaguar Land Rover.

In the quarter under review, the company recorded an increase in its income of Rs 1,09,623 crore from Rs 1,03,597 crore in the June quarter of FY24.

Godrej Agrovet

The first reported a rise in its net profit by 22.9% year-on-year to Rs 131 crore in the first quarter while its net profit stood at Rs 107 crore in the same quarter.

However, the company revenue recorded a drop of 6.4% to Rs 2,350 crore compared to last year's revenue of Rs 2,510 crore in the same quarter.

The leader HCS providers in India reported that its promoters Sanjay Lodha, Navin Lodha, Vivek Lodha, and Niraj Lodha are expected to sell 20.54 lakh shares through block deals.

However, the starting price of each share is Rs 2,180 with a 3.4% discount from the current market price.

Suryoday Small Finance Bank

The private-sector lender reported an increase in its net profit by 47.3% year-on-year to Rs 70 crore in the June quarter. The company made a net profit of Rs 48 crore in the same quarter.

Meanwhile, its Net interest income (NII) went up by 39.9% and stood at Rs 293 crore from Rs 224 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Thermax

Thermax reported that its net profit rose by 96.6% and stood at Rs 115 crore in the June quarter. In the same quarter last year, the firm made a net profit of ₹59 crore.

Thermax revenue rose by 13% and stood at Rs 2,184 crore from Rs 1,933 crore last year in the same quarter.

The Public sector company reported an increase in its net profit by 25.2% year-over-year to Rs 48 crore. In that same quarter, the company made a net profit of Rs 38 crore.

Meanwhile, the company's revenue rose by 19.4% and stood at Rs 558 crore compared to Rs 467 crore revenue in the same quarter last year.
