Three-year-old girl murdered after being sexually assaulted in Bengaluru

A case of sexual abuse of a three and a half year old girl has come to light in Bangalore. According to the police, a 26-year-old man known to his mother killed him.The incident happened at Kamakshipalya in West Bengaluru on Monday. Initially, the suspect denied sexually abusing the girl, but a medical test revealed the truth, a senior police officer said.

The suspect, arrested on Tuesday evening, was known to the girl's mother and used to visit her house frequently. Police said he visited the house again on Monday and abused and thrashed the girl to death. Police said they have registered a case under the POCSO Act and IPC sections related to rape and murder.
