This is what an Ukrain return Indian student had to say on the prevailing condition over there.

Shubhanshu, an Indian student who hugged his mom at the Delhi airport after returning from the war-hit country Ukraine, said "It was like Hell". Shubhanshu, who's a teenager arrived from conflict-hit Ukraine on an evacuation flight sent by the Indian government.

Shubhanshu added, "We traveled from Vinnytsia to the border. The journey was uneventful. Our contractors arranged buses. We reached the border safely, though we had to walk some 12 km. But walking was not the problem. The problem was crossing the Romanian border. It had become impossible to cross the border."

Today, the external ministry confirmed that an Indian student succumbed to the attack by Russia in Ukraine. They added that an Indian student lost his life when Russian soldiers blew up a Ukrainian government building in the east European nation's second-biggest city Kharkiv.
