There will be no relief from the cold yet for a few days
Cold wave continues in all the states of North India. While snowfall has increased the winter in the hilly areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, states like Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan are shivering from the cold wave.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is not going to be such a quick relief from the cold.
Cold conditions are likely to increase over plains of Northwest India during the next two days and over Madhya Pradesh during the next four-five days.
According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), dense fog can remain in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, western Uttar Pradesh, western Madhya Pradesh for the next twenty four hours in the morning and night.
The Meteorological Department says that apart from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh and Marathwada areas will also remain cold for the next 24 hours.
