The third wave of corona in the country is at it's peak

In the third wave of corona which started from December 27 in the country, the number of daily infected is increasing continuously. So far, 31 lakh new patients have been found in the third wave. Of these, 6,912 people have died. The mortality rate is only 0.2%, that is, out of 1000 thousand patients, only 2 people are dying. This rate is the lowest in the world.

According to research conducted in different countries, the Omicron variant is up to 8 times less lethal than Delta. Therefore, many countries are not imposing restrictions despite record figures of patients. Spain has declared Corona a common flu.

Out of the initial 31 lakh patients found during the first wave of Corona, 57,921 patients died. A total of 1.22 crore infected people were confirmed in the first wave. After this 2.34 crore patients were found in the second wave.

Out of the initial 31 lakh patients found in the second wave, 21,244 had died. These figures were also from the state governments, which are being improved till now. This means that the death toll was much more than 21,244.
