In a press release issued by the Defense Ministry, it has been said that these new schools will be different from the existing Sainik schools.
The Narendra Modi government had announced the establishment of 100 new Sainik Schools in the country. Its objective is to provide quality education to the students as per the National Education Policy. Not only this, students have to be included in the armed forces, including providing them better opportunities in the future. News agency ANI has said in its report that this step will provide an opportunity to the youth to become responsible citizens and work with the government towards nation building.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Defense, it has been said that these new Sainik Schools will have affiliation with the respective education boards. Along with this, Sainik Schools will work under the aegis of the society. These Sainik Schools will be set up in a partnership mode prescribed by the Sainik Schools Society and will follow the norms laid down for the new Sainik Schools.
