The commission has increased the number of people for door-to-door campaigns to 10, earlier it was 5. For Phase One, the meeting of political parties or candidates can be done at the designated open space with a limit of 500 people or 50% of the ground capacity as per the guidelines. This will be possible from January 28 to February 8. For Phase Two, this exemption will be from February 1 to February 12.
The limit of people for indoor meetings has been fixed at 300 or 50% of the hall capacity as per the guidelines.Video vans can be used for publicity in open spaces. Vans in open spaces cannot be more than 500 visitors or more than 50% of the capacity of the space as per guidelines. There should be no hindrance to traffic and people during this time.
