The Central Government imposed a ban on PFI

The Central Government declared PFI (Popular Front of India) and its allies or fronts as an unlawful association with immediate effect for a period of five years. For the past few days, hundreds of people have been arrested by raiding different places of PFI.

On Tuesday, the second biggest action was taken by the Center against the PFI. 270 people associated with PFI were detained from 7 different states. During the raids 56 people were arrested from Uttar Pradesh, 74 from Karnataka, 23 from Assam, 34 from Delhi, 47 from Maharashtra, 21 from Madhya Pradesh, 15 from Gujarat.

UP on PFI ban Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak said that the anti-social illegal activities of PFI were continuing. Various investigative agencies were investigating. In view of the facts that have come to light, the decision taken by the Ministry of Home Affairs has been appreciated by the whole country.
