The Central Government imposed a ban on PFI
Maulana Shahbuddin Razvi, the national president of All India Muslim Jamaat, says that the government has taken a good step by banning the radical organization PFI. India's soil is not the land of radical ideology and neither can such radical ideology flourish here that will lead to unity and integrity of the country.

The Central Government declared PFI (Popular Front of India) and its allies or fronts as an unlawful association with immediate effect for a period of five years. For the past few days, hundreds of people have been arrested by raiding different places of PFI.
On Tuesday, the second biggest action was taken by the Center against the PFI. 270 people associated with PFI were detained from 7 different states. These people are accused that they were probably trying to mobilize a large number of people to spread violence. During the raids 56 people were arrested from Uttar Pradesh, 74 from Karnataka, 23 from Assam, 34 from Delhi, 47 from Maharashtra, 21 from Madhya Pradesh, 15 from Gujarat.
UP on PFI ban Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak said that the anti-social illegal activities of PFI were continuing. Various investigative agencies were investigating. In view of the facts that have come to light, the decision taken by the Ministry of Home Affairs has been appreciated by the whole country.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, I welcome the decision of the Government of India to ban PFI. The government is determined to ensure that a divisive or disruptive design against India will be dealt with sternly.
