The Vice President's security guards were waiting for him to come out when five terrorists in a white ambassador entered the Parliament from Gate No-12

The date was 13 December 2001. It was cold weather and it was sunny outside. Winter session was going on in Parliament and there was a ruckus over the "Women's Reservation Bill". The bill was to be discussed on this day as well, but at 11:02 the Parliament was adjourned.
After this, the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Leader of the Opposition Sonia Gandhi had left the Parliament. The then Vice President Krishna Kant's convoy was also about to leave. After the adjournment of Parliament, there was an influx of white vehicles at gate number 12.
Till this time everything was fine, but no one had ever imagined or imagined what happened in Parliament in a few minutes. At around 11.30 am, the Vice President's security guards were waiting for him to come out when five terrorists in a white ambassador entered the Parliament from Gate No-12. The security guards used to be unarmed at that time.
