Terrorist Arrested: Two Hybrid Terrorists Arrested In Kupwara, Pistol And 10 Grenades Recovered
He has been identified as Talib Ahmed Sheikh, a resident of Leatherwan Kawari. Four pistols, 8 pistol magazines and 140 cartridges were recovered from him. After registering a case against both, investigation is being done to find out the modules connected to both.

Security forces have arrested two Lashkar-e-Taiba hybrid terrorists with weapons in Kupwara district of North Kashmir. Four pistols, 8 magazines, 110 cartridges and 10 grenades were recovered from both of them. Police said that information was received that two hybrid terrorists belonging to Lashkar have entered the Maidanpora area.
Acting on this, the security forces cordoned off the area and started a joint search operation. During the operation a small cargo vehicle (JK09A-2324) was signaled to stop near Iron Bridge Maidanpora. Sensing the presence of security forces, the vehicle was already stopped and two persons jumped out of it and started running.
Vigilant security forces immediately apprehended one person Shamim Ahmed Khan resident of Khan Mohalla Kawari Ladarvan and 10 hand grenades were recovered from his bag. His other accomplice jumped into the fields and started running. He too was later apprehended from a shop in Lolab during a search of the area.
