Telangana CM Chandrashekhar Rao meets Uddhav Thackeray

Chandrashekhar Rao met Uddhav Thackeray and his cabinet ministers and leaders at Varsha Bungalow - the official residence of Maharashtra CM in Mumbai. Actor Prakash Raj was also present on this occasion. He will meet Nationalist Congress Party President Sharad Pawar later.

Posters welcoming the Chief Minister of Telangana have been put up at many places in Mumbai. These posters have pictures of Chandrashekhar Rao, Uddhav Thackeray, Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray. The Telangana Chief Minister's office had said that Uddhav Thackeray called him last week and invited him to Mumbai, while also announcing "full support" for his "fight" against the BJP's "anti-people policies".

According to the Telangana Chief Minister's Office, Thackeray had said that Chandrashekhar Rao had "raised his voice at the right time to save the country from divisive forces". Chandrashekhar Rao was accompanied by his daughter and Legislative Council member K. Kavita and party MP J. Santosh Kumar, Ranjit Reddy and B B Patil were also involved.
