Ex-Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav has drawn a parallel between Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.
In his latest tweet, Yadav, who is also the leader of opposition in Bihar, has posted a news item that has reported the recent dictatorial order of the state government.
According to the report, the Bihar government has said that if any person will engage in protests such as road blockade, demonstration, etc which amounts to a criminal offence, and if police will charge such a person, he or she will not be eligible for government jobs or contracts in the state.
Earlier the state government had issued an order in which it has been held that people will be prosecuted for misleading social media posts.
Responding to the order, Yadav said, “Nitish Kumar, who is challenging Mussolini and Hitler, says if someone used his democratic right to protest against the power system, then you will not get a job.”
Decoding the government order Yadav says that the meaning of such an order is that the government “will not even give jobs and will not let protest.”
“How afraid is the poor 40-seat Chief Minister?” Yadav questioned.
Hours after saying this, Yadav tweeted a news item on the same issue and said, “Kim Jong Un's order from Bihar.”
Yadav has been aggressively attacking Nitish Kumar’s government for its various recent orders. He had also severely criticised the government dictates for police action on social media posts.
Yadav and his party Rashtriya Janata Dal is openly supporting the farmers' protest against the three farm laws.
