Tejashwi moves to the Delhi High Court against the CBI, filed a petition, this appeal will be heard today
The petition filed by Tejashwi Yadav has sought quashing of CBI's summons against him. It has been said in the petition that when he is living in Patna, CBI is issuing summons to him in Delhi. Tejashwi has said that notice under section 160 of CrPC can be issued only in the local jurisdiction. CBI is in blatant violation of law by issuing notice to him to appear in Delhi.

Strictness is increasing against Lalu Yadav and his family in the land-for-job scam. In this case, the CBI is issuing summons to Lalu's younger son and the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, asking him to appear at the Delhi headquarters, but instead of not appearing, he is asking for a further date. Now Tejashwi has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court in this matter. This petition will be heard today on Thursday.

Tejashwi Yadav has said that since it is his responsibility to attend the session as the newly appointed Deputy CM. He has sought time from the CBI till the end of the current Bihar Assembly session. There will be a hearing in this case tomorrow, Thursday, February 16. Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma's bench will hear this petition today.
Earlier today, RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife and former Bihar CM Rabri Devi, daughter Misa Bharti have been granted bail by the Rouse Avenue Court in the land-for-job scam. All three have been granted bail on a personal bond of Rs 50,000. The next hearing of the matter will be on March 29. Please tell that today Lalu's family appeared before the court in Delhi. The court had sent summons to 16 accused in the scam, including Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav, to appear. In this case where the CBI has already interrogated other accused including Rabri Devi, Lalu Yadav and Misa Bharti a week ago. At the same time, ED has also raided the whereabouts of Lalu family members.
