Tata Power-DDL Launches 'Green Warriors 2.0' Campaign inviting Corporates and Businesses to share their ‘Sustainable Transition’ journey

New Delhi : Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL), the pioneer power utility providing electricity to over 7 million users in North and Northwest Delhi, has announced the launch of its campaign 'Green Warriors 2.0', the second edition of its sustainability awareness initiative. Addressing the critical issue of climate change and its adverse effects on the planet, the campaign invites Corporates, Start-ups, SMEs and Businesses across Delhi/NCR, to share their journey of green energy adoption, sustainability, and environment conservation towards building a greener future.

The campaign is aligned with Tata Power-DDL’s “Urja Arpan” initiative, which aims to encourage responsible and optimal electricity consumption by using energy-efficient products and services among individuals and organizations and encourage a sustainable lifestyle for a greener tomorrow.

Participants can submit their video entries (maximum duration 2 minutes) showcasing their eco-friendly and sustainable initiatives implemented across their business and organization aligned with the nation’s Net Zero target. The video entry should include three parts: an introduction of the business, footage of the scenario before the green transition, reasons for the transition and its positive impact. The top 3 Green Transition stories will win exciting prizes, along with certificates of participation for every participant. The winning entries will also be featured across Tata Power-DDL’s social media platforms. Entries are to be shared through WeTransfer or WeSendIt at corporate.communication@tatapower-ddl.com by 31st January 2024. You have to mention your Name, Business and Contact Number while sharing the entry. The last date for submission of entry is 31st January 2024. (T&C applied)

The entries will be judged by an eminent jury comprising of senior officials from Tata Power-DDL.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Ganesh Srinivasan, CEO of Tata Power-Delhi Distribution Ltd said, “At Tata Power-DDL, we have a strong commitment to sustainability, and we strive to promote responsible energy consumption, reduce our environmental impact, and support the well-being of our communities through various initiatives. The 'Green Warriors 2.0' campaign is aimed at encouraging enterprises and businesses to lead the way in adopting sustainable practices and setting an example for others to follow.”

The inaugural ‘Chapter 1’ of the ‘Green Warriors’ campaign by Tata Power-DDL invited school children from class 3rd to 10th to contribute innovative ideas for environmental conservation.
