Tamil Nadu : Migrant laborer assaulted in Tamil Nadu train

The case of abusing and assaulting 3 migrant laborers in a moving train in Tamil Nadu has come to light. A video related to this incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media. Tamil Nadu Police has registered a case in this regard. The accused are currently being searched by the police. After the video of this incident surfaced, people are strongly criticizing it. The fight seen in the video started only because the migrant laborers were from North India and did not know Tamil. Along with this, the accused have spoken about the migrant laborers coming to Tamil Nadu to snatch local jobs.

In this regard, a statement has been issued by the Railway Police saying that an FIR has been registered in this regard by the Government Railway Police of Tamil Nadu. The search for the accused is on. Significantly, in this viral video, the accused person is abusing and beating a North Indian migrant laborer just for speaking Hindi. Looking at the video it looks like it is an unreserved compartment incident because all the passengers are standing there and there is a lot of crowd.

This assault is a hate crime which is a result of hate politics happening in the state .
